1. Хата кінця 19 ст. з села Бзів Баришівського району Київської області.
Тридільне зрубне житло 19 ст. Лівобережної Київщини: хата + сіни+ комора. Стіни рублені з дубових брусів, у житловій частині мащені й білені, сіни й комора не мащені. При сінешній стіні – велика вариста піч, з прямостінним комином, з виводом диму через стіновий отвір-каглу у сіни, під виплетений бовдур-димар, мащений глиною зсередини й зовні.
У хаті поздовжній масивний сволок, великі вікна на шість шибок. Сіни без стелі, з двома дверима. Долівки глиняні, у коморі – дощата.
2. Повітка-хлів початку 20 ст. з села Пристроми Переяслав-Хмельницького району Київської області. Для утримування домашніх тварин.
Рублена з соснових брусів. У довгій стіні збоку розміщено двері, перед якими зроблена із жердок загорода.
3. Саж початку 20 ст. з села Кийлів Бориспільського району Київської області. Для відгодівлі свиней.
Зрубна будівля. На передній стіні корито для корму з лядою. Дах чотирисхилий на кроквах, критий соломою. З правого боку дверцята.
A farmstead from the Left-bank Kyivshchyna
1. A house of the end of 19th Century from Bziv village in Baryshivskyi district of Kyivska Region
This is a three-room log-house, typical of 19th Century Left-bank Kyivshchyna in, comprising of a house, a mudroom and a storeroom. Its walls are made of oak timbers. It the residing part walls are clayed and white-washed, on the contrary to the walls of the mudroom and storeroom. Close to the mudroom wall, there is a large stove with straight chimney, carrying out smoke to the mudroom through a round hole in the wall kagla and to a platted chimney clayed inside and outside.
The house has a massive longitudinal ceiling beam, large windows with six glasses. The mudroom is without ceiling, but with two doors. The floors are mostly clayed, covered by wooden boards in the storeroom.
2. A shed and barn of the beginning of the 20th Century from Prystromy village in Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi district of Kyiv Region was built for keeping livestock.
The building is made of pine-tree beams. The door is placed in a longer wall with a wooden cage in front of it.
3. A pigsty of the beginning of 20th Century from Kyjliv village of Boruspilskyi district in Kyivska Region was used for hog growing. This is a log-house with a though with a hatch for fodder on its front wall and a small door on the right. The roof has four sloping surfaces, on rafters covered by straw.
