«THE MUSEUM IN THE OPEN AIR IN SOCIO-CULTURAL SPACE»
International scientific conference devoted to the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Folkways of Ukraine

The following areas are offered:
museum as a socio-cultural phenomenon;
directions and strategies of museum functioning and development: research, museification, preservation, restoration, protection of exhibits;
complating and exhibiting museum collections;
folk culture: the place and significance of tradition in history and the present.
As part of the conference is scheduled two round tables:
museums, their heroes and antiheroes;
museums in the open air management strategies in modern conditions.

To participate in the conference it is necessary to send a participant's questionnaire (attachment file) to the electronic address of the organizing committee by May 01, 2019.
Languages of the conference – Ukrainian, English.
The materials of the reports will be published by separate editions before the conference starts.
Passage, food expenses, accommodation at the expense of participants.

Національний музей народної архітектури та побуту України запрошує на міжнародну конференцію, присвячену 50-ти річчю заснування Національного музею народної архітектури та побуту України, яка проходитиме 20 та 21 вересня 2019 року.

У рамках конференції передбачається обговорення наступних тем:
- Музей як соціокультурний феномен.
- Напрямки та стратегії музейного функціонування та розвитку: дослідження, музеєфікація, збереження, реставрація, охорона експонатів.
- Комлектування та експонування музейних колекцій.
- Народна культура: місце та значення традиції в історії сучасності.
До участі у конференції запрошуються дослідники (науковці, викладачі, аспіранти, студенти), які працюють у сфері музейної справи, культурології, соціології, етнографії та інших гуманітарних дисциплін.
Робочі мови конференції - українська, англійська.
